Neuropsychological Evaluation.

The purpose of a neuropsychological evaluation is to provide a comprehensive assessment of how the brain is functioning across multiple cognitive and emotional domains.

This evaluation includes all of the components of a comprehensive psychoeducational evaluation, while also providing a more in-depth examination of brain-based functioning. The goal is to better understand how an individual’s brain processes, learns, and responds to information, identifies strengths and weaknesses, clarifies diagnoses, and develops individualized recommendations for treatment, educational planning, and daily functioning.

It is the most comprehensive psychological evaluation available and should only be conducted by licensed psychologists with specialized doctoral training and board certification.
